Free peer tutoring from National Honor Society members. Our goal is simple: make academic support accessible, approachable, and easy to ask for.
Connecting students with NHS tutors who can meet them where they're at and help them move forward.
Student Success is the National Honor Society’s peer tutoring program at Clayton-Bradley Academy. Our high school NHS members volunteer their time to help Middle and High School students work through the subjects they find hardest.
There is no cost, no minimum grade, and no need to be failing a class to ask.
How to sign up, what to expect, and more!
Middle School
We can explain tricky concepts, guide you through practice problems, and help you prepare for tests. However, tutoring is supplemental and is NOT intended time to complete homework. We're here to help you understand the material so you can complete your work independently.
High School
We can help you study for tests, explain complicated concepts, guide you through practice problems, provide peer edits on essays, and more. For essay editing, please come prepared with something specific for your tutor to review. You MUST come prepared with material for your tutor to work with. We cannot provide assistance if you do not bring something to work on.
Middle School
Grades 6–8 · submitted by a parent or guardian

Officers check with teachers
The request goes to the student’s middle school teachers for approval.
Officers email available dates
The parent receives the tutoring dates that are open.
Parent picks dates, tutor assigned
A tutor is matched once dates are confirmed. *Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that students will be matched with the same tutor for every session.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a session, please make sure to inform us at least 24 hours in advance.
High School
Grades 9–12 · submitted by the student or a parent

Both sides get the introduction at the same time.
Student and tutor arrange sessions
The two of them coordinate scheduling directly.

The National Honor Society recognizes students for scholarship, service, leadership, and character. At Clayton-Bradley Academy, Student Success is the main way our chapter puts that into practice. Members volunteer as peer tutors, free, for any student who asks.
